Who's on First?
Volume 2
with John Murphy

John Murphy: Sorry for missing a week everybody. I was on the beach working on my redness…I mean tan. Today I would like to welcome Andrew Fielding, owner of the California Bombers. What do you attribute your early success to?
Andrew Fielding: Good Management.
John Murphy: If California does do well, will it solely be because of your offense?
Andrew Fielding: Yeah I think and also some steady pitching will help.
John Murphy: MLIB has added three new owners, including your uncle. What advice would you give to them?
Andrew Fielding: Don't trade with Toronto (lol) don't accept offers too quickly and consider the age but don't overlook your minor leaguers that are too young to be good either.
John Murphy: Speaking of your uncle, does he have what it takes? If you two had a battle royale, best of 7, who
would pull it out?
Andrew Fielding: It depends on what it is a baseball trivia current day me, old times him overall if it was everything I think I would because I know more 'new stuff' than him. But if our teams played in a wrestling match lets say my tough catchers would clobber him all the way!
John Murphy: OK, how about a hypothetical question. You have
been given the first pick in the draft. Describe your
ultimate (but realistic) choice.
Andrew Fielding: Babe Ruth (double days) Awesome at pitching awesome at hitting now that is not just realistic but real and is why I trade my first round picks because unless a batting and hitting Ruth comes along I don't need the pick.
John Murphy: Which team, in your opinion, will improve the
most, and why?
Andrew Fielding: I don't really know I think that Brooklyn will because in the past the money seems to have been a problem for them and now with promotional days and their awesome team they will get to the playoffs soon and I seriously think they have a chance of beating Toronto because Kamil is an awesome owner.
John Murphy: What do you think of the switch to Season Ticket Baseball 2003? Do the new attributes weigh up better
to the fact that those who have the previous STB have to get a new game?
Andrew Fielding: Yeah I think they do. I got OOTP4 which is the original version of STB 2K3 the day it came out and I love it. The new features are my favorite thing and my favorite of those is promotional days.
John Murphy: To finish, we’ll do a little word association.
Platoon?
Andrew Fielding: Only useful in the Playoffs!
John Murphy: Designated hitter?
Andrew Fielding: Not as important.
John Murphy: Leadership ratings?
Andrew Fielding: Realistic and helpful.
John Murphy: Canadian teams?
Andrew Fielding: Uh...Good!
John Murphy: Thanks for joining me on this issue of Who’s on First. My next interview will be next week, same time,
same place. This is the old left-hander rounding third and heading for home. Goodnight everybody.
